Blackhawk fans! It’s time to vote for the February Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling Athlete of the Month. Nominated for Cowan High School this month is:

Riley Duncan – Basketball – Cowan

Riley averaged 16.1pts per game and 14.2 Rebounds per game in the month of Feb. We played 10 games. 8 of the games he had a double-double, and one game a triple double scoring 17pts, grabbing 15 rebounds, and blocking 12 shots.

Riley is shooting 73% from the field and 62% from the line.

Julius Gerencser – Wrestling – Daleville

Julius placed 8th at the state wrestling tournament

Trevor Cobb – Swimming – Pendleton Heights

Trevor has done an amazing job exemplifying leadership both on the team and in the classroom. He sets a great example for his fellow athletes with his positive attitude and work ethic. He scored the most points for our team this year. Trevor achieved the highest placement for our team in the IHSAA sectional swim meet obtaining third place in the 100 butterfly and eighth place in the 100 backstroke.
