Meister Cross Country Invitational Results The boys varsity cross country team competed at Monroe Central on Saturday, August 24. The temperature was rising rapidly during the morning and it made for difficult racing conditions. The boys team scored 157 points to finish in 7th place out of the 15 schools with runners at the meet. Leading the way for Cowan was the dynamic junior duo of Isaac Campbell and Aidan Glenn. Both guys earned medals as they finished 8th and 9th individually in the race. Two more juniors came in next for Cowan. Rudy Glaze and Barron Smith were the team's 3rd and 4th runners for the second meet in a row. Sophomore Chase Matson was the fifth man in for the team. Senior Xander Sparks and freshman Andrew Gaskill filled the 6th and 7th team spots. The team is scheduled to compete in the Arabian Round-Up at Pendleton Heights on Wednesday, August 28.
