The Lady Blackhawks traveled to Rushville on Saturday, August 31, to compete in the Rushville Invitational. After waiting out a weather delay, the ladies ran well enough to finish as the third place team of eight schools in their division. Freshman Abby Campbell led the way for the team with a time of 24:10. Junior Candice Matson was next in for Cowan, followed by sophomore Addison Clark and freshman Eva Byers. Senior Kylee Bergstrom placed fifth for the team and freshman Aubrey Davis was the next runner to finish after Bergstrom. The ladies will travel to Hagerstown on Wednesday to take on the hills!
