Cowan Jr./Sr. High School

The cross country teams traveled to Hagerstown to run on the Tigers' extremely hilly course on September 4. The hills provided an opportunity for Cowan's runners to challenge themselves, which is something that the team members want to do this season as they strive to change themselves for the better. The team finished second to Hagerstown. Junior Candice Matson was the team's top finisher for the first time this season, earning third place. Freshman Abby Campbell and sophomore Addison Clark earned ninth and tenth place. Senior Kylee Bergstrom and freshmen Aubrey Davis and Eva Byers were Cowan's other runners finishing in 12th through 14th place. The team's next meet is at home next Tuesday, September 10. This is the Delaware County Meet and the team's only home meet of the season. Please support the team if you can!
