The junior varsity volleyball team had a great win Thursday night defeating Monroe Central in 2 sets. The Blackhawks came to play and really put forth a great team effort. We can't wait to see them back in action next week. The varsity volleyball team enjoyed a conference win Thursday night as they also defeated the Bears in 4 sets (15-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-18). Keira Drew led the offense with 11 kills, followed by Allie Trimble with 10 kills. Taylor Inman led the defense with 12 digs, followed by Delaney Brinson with 11 digs. Brinson had a great serving match with 6 aces. Drew added 3 aces and Inman and Nettrouer added 2 aces each. The Blackhawks will have their next conference match on Wednesday, September 11th vs. Wes-Del. The junior varsity match will begin at 6pm at Cowan. Let's go Blackhawks!
