Cowan hosted the Delaware County Cross Country Championship Meet on Tuesday, September 10. It was a beautiful day to run, and the girls turned in some very good efforts. Yorktown ran away with the girls team title, with Cowan finishing in 5th place. Cowan's top three runners all earned individual ribbons. Freshman Abby Campbell led the way for the team with a time of 24:17. Junior Candice Matson was not far behind, finishing in 24:37. Sophomore Addison Clark shortly after Matson in 25:05. The team will travel to Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday to compete in the Wildcat Classic with an early race time of 8:30 am.
