Cowan Jr./Sr. High School

Cowan hosted the Delaware County Cross Country Championship Meet on Tuesday, September 10. It was a beautiful day to run, and the guys turned in some very good efforts. Yorktown ran away with the boys team title, with Cowan finishing in 5th place. Junior Isaac Campbell earned All-County recognition by finishing in 10th place. Campbell ran the course more than a minute and a half faster than last year to earn his first all-county recognition. Junior Aidan Glenn improved his time on his home course by almost one full minute and improved a couple of places from last year's meet to earn an individual ribbon. Juniors Barron Smith and Rudy Glaze were the next Cowan runners to finish, and sophomore Chase Matson was the team's fifth man. The team will travel to Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday to compete in the Wildcat Classic with an early race time of 9:00 am.
