The junior varsity volleyball team defeated Wes-Del this evening in 2 sets (25-17, 25-14). Calynn Jett and Corah Wright led the Blackhawks with 6 aces each. The Blackhawks had 14 digs, 10 kills, and 18 aces as a team. Great team effort ladies! The varsity volleyball team also defeated the Warriors in a 5 set thriller Wednesday evening (18-25, 25-15, 25-15, 21-25, 19-17). Savannah Hall led the Blackhawks with 16 kills, 18 digs, 5 blocks, and 1 ace. Keira Drew added 9 kills and Mylie Williams added 6 kills. Taylor Inman added 10 digs, followed by Delaney Brinson and Lily Nettrouer who both added 7 digs each. Danica Keppler ended the night with 33 assists and 6 digs. The Blackhawks are now 2-1 in Conference play and will host Randolph Southern next Tuesday, September 17th. The JV match will begin at 6pm.
