The varsity volleyball team collected another conference win this evening defeating Randolph Southern in 3 sets. The Blackhawks were led in kills by Keira Drew and Allie Trimble with 10 kills each and Savannah Hall added 9 kills. Hall and Taylor Inman led the Blackhawks defensively with 9 digs a piece. Delaney Brinson followed with 8 digs. Danica Keppler dished out 25 assists and contributed 5 digs. Delaney Brinson and Keira Drew had a great night behind the service line with 4 aces each. The Blackhawks are now 3-1 in conference play. The junior varsity team was also victorious winning their match in 3 sets (23-25, 25 10, 15-12) Ayden Morgan had 5 aces and 4 digs for the Blackhawks. Eowyn Glaze added 4 aces and 2 digs. Lily Burton led the team in kills with 5 followed by Brylynn Coon with 4 kills. Burton also added 3 aces. Corah Wright had 15 assists and 2 aces, and Anna DuBois added 3 aces and 2 kills. The Blackhawks next match will be at Eastbrook on Thursday, September 19th. The junior varsity match will begin at 6pm. Let's go Blackhawks!
