Cowan Jr./Sr. High School

The boys competed in the New Castle Invitational at Memorial Park on Tuesday. The team competed well in the hot conditions and finished in 2nd place of 7 schools present at the meet. Juniors Isaac Campbell and Aidan Glenn led the way for the team as both runners finished in the top 5. Campbell placed 2nd in 18:24 and Glenn was 5th in 19:07. A trio of Cowan runners finished within four seconds of each other to give the team its points to finish second. Junior Rudy Glaze finished 20th, sophomore Chase Matson finished 21st, and junior Barron Smith finished 22nd. The team will run at the Jim Leffler Invitational hosted by Yorktown in Morrow's Meadow this Saturday morning.
