Volleyball vs. Shenandoah

The Blackhawks rallied hard but came up short in a 5 set thriller vs. Shenandoah on Tuesday evening. The Blackhawks took set one 26-24, but fell short in sets 2 & 3 losing (25-15, 25-17). The Blackhawks battled back in set 4 beating the Raiders (25-20). The 5th set was back and forth but eventually the Raiders took the lead and defeated the Blackhawks (15-11). Keira drew led the team offensively with 17 kills. Drew also added 1 ace and 9 digs for the Blackhawks. Savannah Hall led the defense with 20 digs, followed by Taylor Young with 16 digs, and Delaney Brinson with 15 digs. The Blackhawks had a team high 89 digs on the night. The Blackhawks will be back in action Thursday evening at 6pm where they will take on the Wapahani Raiders in the first round of the Delaware County Tournament. The tournament will be held at Wapahani High School.
