The Cowan volleyball team advanced past the first round of the sectional tournament Tuesday evening defeating Tri-Central in 3 sets (25-5, 25-17, 25-18). Delaney Brinson had 6 digs and 4 aces for and Savannah Hall and Allie Trimble led the offense with 6 kills each. Mylie Williams added 5 kills and Danica Keppler recorded 20 assists for the Blackhawks. The Blackhawks will travel to Daleville on Saturday, October 19th to face off against North Miami at 11am.
