The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams traveled to Monroe Central to open their season this evening. Both teams battled to the end but ultimately came up short. The 7th grade team lost 39-13. Gavin Todd led the way with 6 points while Warren Arison contributed 4 points and Kaleb Lee chipped in 3 points. The 8th grade team lost 38-12. Evan Adams and Jaxson Glenn scored 4 points each and Landon Young and Landon Glenn both scored 2 points. The boys travel to Delta this Thursday to take on the Eagles with the 7th grade game starting at 5:30 and the 8th grade game to follow.
