The Varsity Girls Blackhawk Wrestlers showcased their resilience and determination at the 3rd Annual Clinton Prairie Girls Invitational, a tournament that drew 353 talented girls from 50 teams. This event marked a milestone for our girls, who demonstrated remarkable respect, heart, and a willingness to learn. Liz Horn made a stellar debut, wrestling with confidence in a bracket of 20 after just eight practices. Candice Matson delivered a standout performance, securing a pin in a competitive 135lb bracket of 28. Emma Jones emerged victorious, crowned the 130 champion with an impressive 5-0 record, four pins, and a tech fall in a challenging bracket of 31. #MAKEITHAPPEN
