The 7th & 8th grade boys basketball teams traveled to Wes-Del Saturday morning to take part in the Wes-Del invite. The 7th graders went 1-1 on the day losing to Wes-Del in the first game and then beating Randolph Southern in the consolation game. Combined stats for the day had Gavin Todd leading with 17 total points, Steven Gadbury scored 12, Caymon Smith 7, and Lochlin Thornburg, JJ Richards, Kaleb Lee, and Warren Arison all contributed a basket each. The 8th graders lost to Wes-Del in the first game and then came up just short against Elwood when a last second tying three point basket didn't go in. Leading scorers for the day were Landon Glenn with 21 points, Jaxson Glenn scored 16, Landon Young 6, and Evan Adams had 3. The boys travel to Burris to take on the Owls on Monday night.
