The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams took on the Blue River Valley Vikings in their first home game of the season. The 7th graders played hard but lost to the Vikings by a score of 32-21. Caymon Smith led the team with 8 points, Gavin Todd chipped in 6 points, Warren Arison, Lochlin Thornburg, and Trevor Garza all contributed 2 points and JJ Richards sank a free throw. The 8th graders gave it their all but ended up losing a nail biter by a final score of 30-26. Landon Young and Landon Glenn led the team with 9 points apiece and Jaxson Glenn scored 8 points. The 8th grade boys basketball team takes on Union-Modoc at home this Thursday with a 5:30 tip.
