Cowan lost 53-7 Friday night at Tri High, ranked No. 9 in Class A. Elizabeth Sizemore, Regan Gill and Kylee Bergstrom scored for the Blackhawks, while Vannah Hall grabbed 16 rebounds. Cowan returns to action with a home game against Eastern on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The junior varsity game will start at 6 p.m. with the varsity game to follow.
