The junior high boys basketball teams hosted the Selma Braves last night. Both teams fought to the end but came up short. In the 7th grade game, Warren Arison led all scorers with 11 points, Steven Gadbury contributed 6, Gavin Todd had 4 points, and Connor Eggleston had 2 points. In the 8th grade game, Landon Glenn led the way with 6 points, Landon Young had 5, Jaxson Glenn contributed 4 points, and Evan Adams and Quentin Baker both scored a basket. The boys will host the winner of the Union-Eastern Hancock game on Thursday in the second round of the MEC Tournament.
