Cowan mustered one strong quarter, tying Monroe Central 7-7, in a 58-17 road loss Thursday night. Regan Gill led the Blackhawks with six points, while Vannah Hall accumulated five points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals. The Blackhawks return to action with a 6 p.m. varsity game against visiting Knightstown on Saturday.
