The Cowan Lady Blackhawks fell to Centerville 4-1 on Monday. Savannah Hall hit a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the first for the Cowan Varsity. Savannah Bowling took the loss for the Cowan Blackhawks. Bowling went seven innings, surrendering four runs (three earned) on 10 hits, striking out two and walking two. Hall went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. The Cowan Blackhawks turned one double play in the game. Next up for the Cowan Blackhawks is an MEC game against Eastern Hancock on Thursday.
