Savannah Hall's Strong Eye Leads the Cowan Lady Blackhawks Past Randolph Southern Savannah Hall showed a strong eye at the plate on Tuesday as Hall walked three times while leading the Blackhawks to a 14-1 victory over Randolph Southern. Savannah Bowling struck out 10 batters on the day. The right-handed pitcher also allowed one hit and one run over five innings while walking one. Cowan got on the board in the top of the first inning after Madison Norris was struck by a pitch, Morgyn Fox was struck by a pitch, Bowling walked, Addison Bowling was struck by a pitch, Candice Matson was struck by a pitch, Brylynn Coons walked, Taylor Young was struck by a pitch, Hall walked, Bryleigh Hiatt singled to right field, and Norris walked, each scoring one run. Cowan added one run in the second. Coons singled on a 3-0 count, making the score 11-0. Hall homered to right field, scoring two runs in the top of the third for the Blackhawks. Young, Hiatt, Coons, and Hall each collected one hit for Cowan Varsity Blackhawks. Bowling led Cowan with four walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 19 walks for the game. Young stole two bases. Cowan welcome Muncie Central on Wednesday for their next game. Start time is 5pm.
