The junior varsity volleyball team beat Muncie Central in 2 sets Tuesday evening (25-9, 25-21). Zoey Teters had 5 service aces, and Reagan Ashtyn led the team defensively with 5 digs. Kaybre McLaughlin led the Blackhawks with 4 kills and Karleigh Wheadon and Lily Burton each contributed 3 kills and 1 ace. The varsity volleyball team fell short in 4 sets to the Bearcats (20-25, 27-25, 22-25, 19-25). The Blackhawks were led by Savannah Hall who had 12 kills, 12 digs, and 3 blocks. Mylie Williams added 13 digs, 5 kills, and 1 ace, and Taylor Young added 9 digs and 4 service aces. Gabby Webb also contributed 3 kills, 9 digs, and 4 blocks. The Blackhawks will host another home match on Thursday vs. Monroe Central. The junior varsity match will begin at 6:00 pm.
