The varsity volleyball team defeated Randolph Southern in 3 sets (25-23, 25-15, 25-12). Demi Abbott had 20 assists and 3 aces for the Blackhawks. Savannah Hall had 12 kills, 6 digs, 2 aces, and 3 blocks and Ayden Morgan and Eowyn Glaze both added 6 digs each. Glaze also had 2 service aces. The junior varsity team also won their match against the Rebels (25 10, 25-18). Karleigh Wheadon and Lily Burton had 4 kills and 3 digs each for the Blackhawks. Ayden Morgan led the defense with 10 digs and Sydney Quinn followed with 7 digs. The Blackhawks will have a home match Thursday, Sept. 18th vs. Eastbrook. The junior varsity match will begin at 6pm.
