Cowan High School 4th 115

Cowan’s boys cross country team earned 4th place at the Delaware County Meet on September 8th on their home course. The team finished with the same number of points as Daleville, but Cowan’s 6th man finished in front of the Broncos 4th runner to give the team the edge.

Three Blackhawks earned ribbons for their efforts. Junior Nate Kirby finished in 20th, sophomore Logan Walker came in 23rd, and rookie senior Logan Byrd was 24th.

Junior Perrin Belcher came in 28th. Senior Colin Ashby managed the team’s only P.R. on Cowan’s challenging course and finished in 31st. Landen Hiatt played the role of 6th man and was the tie-breaker in the team standings.
