The clock ran out on an incredible season Saturday morning at Case Arena. After being down by as many as 12 points early in the fourth quarter, the Blackhawks rallied back and had a chance to tie in the closing seconds, but just missed a 3 pointer that would have sent the game to OT. Final score in the first game of the Frankfort Regional: Lafayette Central Catholic 67 Cowan 63. There are an incredible number of people to “Thank” for a season unlike any other in CHS history. The players, administration, parents, cheerleaders, pep band and you the incredible Cowan fans – What an enjoyable ride by a group of young men who LOVE each other and LOVE Coach Ingles!!! That Locker Room had a lot of happy tears and hugs shared because of the LOVE! The coaching staff wishes to give you all a shout out for your help in making it a memorable year – #AllForIngles!!!! In their final game in a Blackhawk uniform the seniors of course led the way again! Riley Duncan powered his way to 26 pts., 16 rebs & 2 blocks. Quentin Edmonds-Long added 19 pts., 5 rebs., 4 assists & 2 steals. Mason Self knocked down 9 pts., 2 rebs. & 2 assists. Logan Byrd added 7 pts. & 6 assists and Captain Jacob Thomas had 2 pts., 4 rebs & 2 assists. Thank You Seniors for an incredible run the last two seasons!!! Best of Luck in your future endeavors – We are praying for you! Cole, Mikey, Blaine, Victor, JV Team and incoming 8th graders – You know the way … The Question is – How hard will you work in the offseason to reach those heights of the past two seasons!! Thank You Again Blackhawk Nation!!!
